Problem
Element detection failed in modal-rich desktop apps. Creating ‘Finder’ based flows was being very un-reliable.
Solution
- Created an anchorless positioning framework using screen coordinate mapping, bounding box adjustments, and zoom-level sensitivity.
- Introduced a new ‘content-type’ called Card for Whatfix’s library of contents meant as tools for guidance creation.
- Collaborated with engineers to build system resource-aware overlays that preserved performance across low-end and high-end machines.
